Not trying to instigate yet another lines of debate, but wanna know different points of view.
We know that Kanchenjungha, the third highest summit on this planet, lies (at least the peak) in Nepal, but literature (internet, magazines) just mentions the fact that it lies between Nepal and Sikkim (India) and fails to indicate where the highest peak lies.
Thats not the case with Mount Everest. Is Kanchenjungha's importance forgotten by Nepal or shadowed by neighbors?

I always thought of Kanchenjunga as being on the border between Nepal and Sikkim/India. The mountain has five peaks which I guess makes for an interesting border demarkation. I am not even sure if HMG has claimed Kanchenjunga to be entirely in Nepal.
