Why is life so dull? all we do is sit around and stare at the sajha screen hoping some new intresting topic would post so we can give our 2 cents. After 4 years of college, is this what we have to look forward to?. Same ol schedule day in and day out, same long hours at work and still at the end of the month there are more bills to pay then our paycheck. And to top it off gotta cook, clean and do laundy. After such a long day we should be able to fall asleep , but no we have to come back to stare at the saja screen.

The disciplined life is always boring but in other hand..........life like mine is full of adventure but not smooth. For instance: you are aware of acheving your goal and u know what u want out of it.........., you have always thought of rainy day and you achive the stuff..........but mylife is mess.......sometimes i cry for a single penny........sometimes, i have wallet full of money and my mind says" should i add i-trip to my i-pod or should i buy some new gadget.///////////////////salary comes in hand than" you encounter beautiful gal.......can't help go for dinner then buy weed etc etc............then almost half of the money is gone by 2 day..........u try to work on it.........then rent..........even i have last money of 100 dollar , i still need to buy marlboro light which cost me $ 32.............
This is life.........ppl who live disclipined life always seek some rough life in mid-age........but guy like us know how hard it is when u die to smoke i ciggi but no money...........then u start to think , dyaam i should make my life disciplined........then ppl like me " kukur ko puchar 12 barsa dungro maa rakhe ne testai ho" thats me..........tara atleast u lived your life like that once..................no regrets......you should enounter life from ying and yang side so u know the value of life........
ani life is not boring.

1. start smoking weed
2. start to be mess
3. stop going to collage
4. start to drink everynite
5. start to flirt with gal
6. try to spend money as much as u made

try it for month or two then u will say my previos life is better even it was boring

moneyminded if yoiu do all this..then what will i get to do....hahhahaa..

to make life more intersting: (as if mine's any better)...get up in the morn, get a coffee, jog, say hi to the mechanic, maybe he'll give you a job..then work out at a gym, get a gf, hangout, and at night, work as a free dj at most bars in and about boston....

good things in life come free..just need to whack your ass sometimes

hey honey,

don't you know you are legally allowed to work 20 hrs while at school and 40 hrs in summers, even if you are an int'l student..

all you have to do..look for a 'good' job don't mention that you aren't allowed to work..go for intws, get a job, and then call your int'l office say you are working on a project related to your studies, hand them your paperwork your social security and they will actually endorse you to work....

from then on if you ask for a co-op you can extend 3-4 months more and if you work harder, you might ask your co to give you an H-1...

now boys get on with your thinking cap..try harder to find good networking..your mom, granny uncle's sis's uncle..your neighbor , landlord...just keep talking till you get a darn job..now that will keep you from being dull..

take control of your life dude. you have the choice to make it as eventful and joyful as you like. noone else can make that decision for you. and once you decide that you won't freakin continue living like this, you will figure out a way. where there's a will, there's a way.

Been there and done all that.

Hushpuppy,

Those are excellent and very clever advices but done most of that too. Actually those are some of the ideas I used to get this job and have them sponsor my H-1.

Now I'm at that point of life where i have done all the stupid things, been to all the bars and clubs i have heard of, got drunk till i puked my guts out, dated my share of girls, even watched most of the new movies.

I mean really guys there is nothing fun to do anymore. So I am back at Sajha staring at the screen.

Even with full time work and 6 credit of school, loads of assignment, lots of hours at Barns and Noble, life is still dull. I mean i do not actually have time to think what my life is but can feel that it is dull.............despite the beach being 10 mins drive away...... life still sucks and sucks...................

I can feel your pain in every way...........but need to do a presentation in a week's time and so do loads of research for that.............

manab,
i could not help commenting here. either u r 2 brilliant or "the other one".

define full time work!!! but if u r taking 6 credit and working full time then definitely you would not have time for anything else except classes.... and work and of course its gonna be like "bone hung in front of those dogs in dog races" you can see it but never get it.
u need to take a break and think about where are u heading ..... [ speaking from experience.....]. may b u need 2 realign your priorities...

hushp,
u seem to have been using part-time cpt, full-time cpt and opt for the entire undergraduate plus.. etc etc.. But, is that what one wants all ones life .. What is a big deal about H1 and job??? LIFE DOES NOT END THERE. ITS MUCH MORE. even though u might be earning $65k on ur h1 job.. but if u r not satisfied where does it take u???

my opinion, one needs to be happy with what one does. Does not matter whether that is as a sweeper or a manager of a multinational. remember that all one need is basic necessity. two meal/day, shelter, something to keep warm (o: and drink ...

=====================================================
but as always,
what do i know??? (o:

yomama

Take photography for this summer and it may bring some vibe into your life. I did and I'm absolutely enjoying this summer. In fact I was taking photography as my minor but dropped it after just 1 and half semester cuz I got too frustrated with the results I got.

After more than three three years I thought I should give it a second try on my own and see how things will turn out. This time it rocked.

Yomama - Looks like you have done it all and are a pretty accomplished person in your own right. Quite a few people who have gone through the kind of dilemna you talk about have, believe it or not, found an outlet in getting married and starting a family. I am not one of those people(at least not yet .. he he ) but when I read your posting I coudn't but help think about a couple of my friends who ended up marrying and starting a family to overcome the boredom of doing the same thing day in and day out. I haven't heard from them in a while - so I am not sure how their decisions have turned out to be.

I went through somewhat of a similar situation a while ago. In my case, I did consider marriage but decided against it. Instead, I went on to pick up a few new hobbies, switched jobs, travelled a bit and somehow in the process found my grip, or at least that's what I like to think :). I'll get bored of this stuff someday, I know for sure, but hey, I'll find a new adventure then. Good luck in finding yours.

Best wishes.

if we could have been less self concerned about ourselves then life would have never been such dull and worthless... I want to make it better but everytime I meet new people they just discourages me...so I am left where I am.
We all are doing the things ... just to fulfill the norms. We are like a robot...programmed to go to college ...study...work and then marriage and all those things...I feel there is no life at all

Thapap:

Yes, u r right, i need a break but right now i need to complete my presentation and report. I am just hanging here. The problem is there are no nepalis here and sometimes i even miss talking in Nepal but in other times, i think why waste my time talking to these kuhires, i might as well study and finish off.

U r right about the work. My first job was in the publication house in Kathmandu and more than the job, i enjoyed answering the reception phone... Namaste..this is ....how can i help you? and talking to people. I kind of hated the job but then what to do..you do not earn enough amswering phones forever.............

captain,
what happened "bianca" dumped u ???? (o:
pls pls .. do not start with blu....blistering .. barnacles..etc etc (o:

manab,
now hear hear,
1 need to realign their priorities. i realized it too late .. once everything is lost. anyway.. that was mine..

money per se is never enough. as i mentioned earlier.. i realigned my priorities.. [ my necessities are 2 meals/day, shelter, something to keep me warm (o:, drink, access 2 transportation] .. so how much 1 need?? being ambitious is part of human nature, but this desire would never be satiated. 1 after another ... materialistic need would never leave. so, better to cut out and take the losses.

====================================================
anyway again in exhaustion and exasperation
what do i know? (o:

LIFE SUCKS but the intensity depends on individual.

i am always happy coz.. i do not have any high expection [ unlike gr8 mind (o:) so m always content.

====================================================
again after tireless day here it goes.
what do i know??? (o:
