The Government is preparing to file a case on Gagan Thapa on charges of sedition.
Authorities have accused Thapa of shouting slogans against the monarchy in prohibited area in Ratnapark that was organized by Citizens? Movement for Peace and Democracy a few days ago.

Thapa has defended himself by saying that he was using his constitutional rights during the protest.

Constitutional Rights doesn't entail one to go out and encourage his so called "pupils" to use threat and fear to paralyse people who have opposite views as to him. I am referring to the Hardline/Nightline documentary about Nepali political situation where he is seen insinuating his followers to make phone calls to certain campus chief. The calls would just be to let the campus chief know that he is being followed and watched, as according to Mr. Thapa, that certain campus chief is a heart patient. If this is nor terrorism, then what is?
What if, I repeat what IF, government used the same tactic against his family to quiet him down? Would that still be a just practice of constitutional rights?

Constitutional Rights? What constitutional rights? Which constitution? After 1 February, Nepal is jungle and only jungle law applies. Ever heard police calling a visitor in his office upstairs and then telling him that he was under arrest for some unspecified charges?

Big talks thats it. Nothing gonna happen if the leaders realise their duty and repect the rights of people. And like it or not "its KTM valley that brings change." Until and unless they rise up there is no chance in hell to bring any change. But are they willing to participate in the movements? No until some leaders act and not only talk. Why do you think there is no mass movement? Its because people are fed up with back stabbers.

Same with this dude Gagan. No matter how long he shouts on the streets against King. Its not gonna work. He has to convince people with strong backing from his act. His acts of threats to Campus chief, forced closure is not helping at all. Thats what KTM people are most pissed about during so called democracy.

So the act should follow from inter party. Start up with kicking out Girija, makune, Bame and so on and all other corrupts. People will start to follow the cause.
