I guess one of the biggest problem in Nepal that jeopardize the future of Nepal is too much politics in campus. I guess goverment should come up with rules that bans party oriented politics in colleges.

I did my bachelor in India and right now doing Masters in US. Both of these countries are regarded as the biggest democracy in world, but in none of these countries I saw party level politics blended into colleges and campuses.

While in Nepal except private school and Kathmandu University there is cheap politics everywhere.

At university level there is some politics, which in needed to give awareness to students about country politics and make them involve in country politics and make them able to exercise their political right. But there is always a limit for student involvement in politics.

Have you seen any college/ Univ in US where student fight with each other to vote for Democratic Student union or Republical student union. No, there is always neutral student union elected.

Have you ever seen BJP student union/ Congress student union voting in Indian colleges/univs no there is always neutral student union.

Then why does our country need so much of politics in campus/schools/univs. Why can not there be just neutral student union and limit the involvement to political parties union only to those student that they want...

We definitely need to bring back democracy in Nepal, but this time we need to bring cured democracy in Nepal, we need to get rid of all its diseases. Partys should stop playing with student life, students should be aware of their career and aim more than dirty politics of country.

A middle-class farmes invests his life time earning to send his/her son to colleges in city, but his children becomes the victim of dirty politics and ends up either not being able to complete his/her study or not being able to end it in time...

Why are most students eager to get out of nepal to study, its because they can not study in nepal. This way we are running away from disease no curing the disease. And I know I am one of them, but I had no choice, if I try to voice my concern about politics in campus. The rowdy political leaders like Gagan Thapa or some bhattarai or some lama will bully you beat you..,, and there was nothing you could do with all their fathers/uncles leader ruling the country...

I felt like laughing when Neplanews.com reported gagan thapa being arrested as breaking news, give me a break a true rowdy who was enroll in college just to do politics and bully people using politcal power is not a student leader he is a criminal.. the news should have been a criminal arrested and should have been in small caption not breaking news..

Dear Brothers / Sisters in Nepal,

Stop wasting your life in dirty politics. You are wasting your poor parents earning and dream over a croocked and criminal leaders, and its not worth. We should unite against party politics in campus, young generation is the future of country and we are wasting it to make some leader rich....

I was heart broken when 2 years back 7 studnent union tried to pressure private school/universities/ colleges to allow them to do party politics inside there too. Thank fully then Gyanendra's government took care of that. I still say starting move of this king was towards the better side, but he got carried away a lot and completely missed his target...

Right now KU is one of the top university in south asia and one of the biggest capable think tank generator for Nepal in Nepal. It is just because they never compramised students future with politics, everyone should learn from this and move toward this.

The demand of student community should be to ban party level politics from colleges/univ/ school. The demand should not be to introduce these dirty things to privat e school /college.

Once again dear brother and sister open your eyes and fight for what is good for you no t what is good for those bastard leaders...
