Try
FESTIVAL OF ASIA. Their ph number 1-800-533-9953.

I bought mine from them a month ago. They are very reliable and helpful and will try to get you the best deal, unlike many indian and nepali agencies.

I paid $1650 and that was because my dates were fixed and not flexible and it was in the mid of summer, the busiest time of the year. Other airlines were either charging me more for the dates I was planning to fly or were simply unable to find any tickets at the dates.
If you are flying at the end of Sept or Oct, the tickets should be cheaper. But do not expect to get them for very cheap since the gas prices are so costly. And do keep in mind that if you fly via London, or Hongkong, you would need a transit visa. But there are other options like via Taiwan.

And also I bought mine 10 days before flying. So if you buy yours eariler, you can get a good deal. And the reason I am recommending Festival of Asia is because I was very frustrated by the customer service at nepalese and indian owned agencies. So when I called Festival of Asia, the customer service rep was very helpful and honest.

Check out the asaptickets.com and airgorrilla.com, they've got the cheapest tickets. I bought from air gorrilla for oct 30 and costs me $892. It's a direct flight from LA to New Delhi and to Ktm.

jptsharma n shree try this site even cheaper. If you fly in Ooc 1st the price starts from $754. http://www.orbitz.com/App/ViewFlightSearchResults?z=689a&r=ob

Nepuane ji...r u sure about that...coz i already have a ticket from LAX to New delhi, it's kinda worrying me since I'm going to Nepal after 5 years and I don't want my luggage to be messed up. I also heard there's gonna be lot of hassle in KTM airport.

Delhi is not good place to fly thru, You will have to check out all your luggae and those indians loves to give hard time plus the transit is full of smell of finale ( cleaning chemical) and a lots of flies.

I just got back from nepal and so far ktm. airport won't give you hard time. They may take long time in the custom but it is not that bad.

Have a safe flight back home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you fly via India, you will be totally screwed up. You will regret. If you want to save some money, its up to you.

LAst time when I traveld to Nepal I had 14 hours Transit in Delhi and I have so many college friend there so I htought it will be good to see them after a long time, but, They did not allow me to leave transit. Even my friend came to the airport to see me but stupid dhotis never let me get out of the transit and I have to rott in that place for 14 hours. It was not a godd experiance at all especially when you have one year old child with you and it was hot too.

Well, I hope you do not have long transit there.
