Hey Guys ! If the vehicle has a salvage title what are the things u need to take care before u buy the vehicle. Such that if its a stolen one you would be safe and u can pass the registration. (NY state) Pls help

The right VIN no. is JT2SK12E8S0291182 (sorry about that) it says clean report when i check at car-fax which gives half the information but it has a salvage title so i was wondering what was that for ? and whether to take it or not. Pls
