US seeks Nepal?s support for UN reform

The United States has urged the Nepal government for support in its proposal for reforms in the United Nations.

US ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, met Nepal?s permanent representative to the UN, Madhuraman Acharya, on Wednesday and asked for Nepal?s support to its reform agendas, which include some major changes in the structure and role of the Security Council.

Reports quoting Acharya said that during the 40-minute meeting, Nepal?s current political situation and His Majesty King?s election agendas were also discussed.

The US mission to the UN has said that the meeting was a regular one, reports added.

Nepali authorities are yet say anything categorically regarding Nepal's position over the reform of the world body and the US proposal for support.

The US has suspended its military support to Nepal following the Feb 1 royal move when King Gyanendra assumed direct power.

.UN has achieved some notable objectives in maintaining the world peace because of some enlightened minds who embraced the world affairs disregarding American selfish causes.
Some had to even pack their bags and leave NY just because they cared more about the world states and less about the United States(Remember Boutros-Boutros Ghali and how this poor guy was laid off because he stopped listening to MADAME ? Albright).
The philosophy behind the UN establishment was to maintain world peace prosperity among the world community not just the American public).Unfortunately,UN has become a playground for American to perform their foulplay directed from their evil minds with their dirty hands).And lately it has become the topic of debate among far-right christian fundamentalist preachers needless to say Bush's brain alumni.So why does this world body has to erect itself around greedy wall-street when its sole aim was to touch the heart and soul of dying thirld-world population.Why do Americans have to own the UN which belongs to the world?And why is the world community silent on this issue?This power blindedness has to end.Move the UN headquarter from this greedland.
