I know that this a bit extreme, but ... legalize it all. I am sick and tired of the war on drugs. Legilizing it is not like saying 'smoke as much as you want its like saying 'we messed up, consenting ADULTS should be able to use it for recreational use just the same as messed.

I have noticed that more countries are legalizing marijuana for medical needs. This brings a very key point to the stage. I believe that certain drugs would actually benefit our Country. With the backing of major corporations drugs like marijuana could be packaged by the tobacco companies and approved by the Government. Did you know that tobacco companies already have over a thousand patents on marijuana cigarettes? This potential could free up a lot of money currently spent on drug enforcement and also produce tax income.

Legalize it, tax the shit out of it.

In the long run , the war on drugs could turn out to be no different than the "war on alcohol". Most countries with prohibition have finally given up on it and I sometimes wonder if the same will turn out to be the case for some narcotics - especially marijuana.
