so guys here's my problemo, whenever I try to start webcam on Msn messenger I get this error message

Visual C++ runtime error

Runtime error!

Program: D:\Program files\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe

This application has requested Runtime to terminate it in an unsuual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.




Any professional advice will be highly appreciated, My OS is Win xp professional and I am using the latest version of MSN messenger

38 hits and still no reply :( is it really rare?

I would suggest you to:
1)Try in reinstalling messenger. Either remove the old version or overwrite it.
2) Do make sure that your webcam is correctly determined by your OS. Some webcam requires driver s/w. Make sure you install it completely and Windows is able to detect it.

Thanks for ur suggestion hunk...I tried both of them
reinstalled MSN messenger by completely removing it and downloading a new one
and for the webcam..it works completely alright with yahoo messenger and independantly if I run it throught its program...I dont know whats wrong ...do you have any other advices that I can follow?

can you post your hijack log? if u don't know what hijack is, google, download, scan and post the log.
