I am working in my office, feeling tired and sleepy from the sleeplessness of last night. My two daughters bumped with each other, younger one falling over the wooden frame on the wall. I picked her up and began to console her. Her cry became smaller and smaller. That was not it. I felt my shoulder wet where she had rested her head, no it was not her tears. Blood was flowing from her head. Then a series of routine work, leaving the older one in care of trusted friend, rushing to the emergency with the little one, a long wait, return home late and be ready for the next morning of work. Great relief - the little one has no serious injuries. Rather she was entertaining other patients at the emergency with her non-stop singing of 'horn in the bus go beep beep beep' and 'ole mcdonald'.

Both girls are out, one in afterschool and other at daycare. At four o'clock, I peeped through the window. Surprisingly, the world outside is great. Nice and cool weather, with a squainted sunny look on everything it touches. Afterall, life is full of moments, which we should take as they come.

Thanks Chatmandude and Kalankisthan for dropping few words in here.

Chatmandude, it's a great relief in deed, being able to send her to day care right next morning (although she didn't wake up until 10:00 am). Of course, the scene is of a college town. I am in Auburn, Alabama. The picture is part of Auburn University.

Kalanki bro... ke chha? I am back..... I mean back in Alabama, back in my studies, back in my job...I picked up things where I left them last year before moving to California, of course back in Sajha (although may take some more time to write any readable stories).

Anilji, Thanks for the call last night. I didn't have a calling card in hand for long distance call. My cell phone has been acting funny since two days. I can hear the caller but the caller can't hear me. I will call you this weekend when my new cell phone arrives.
