Hi Friends, Some people in this room seem to be very sound technically and technologically. I dont know it might be a dumb question if it is who cares right??? I am just wondering is there any way that you can watch internet based TV directly on regular TV without using the computer. Is there any way to give S-video output from desktop to Tv? I am doing it through laptop, which i dont want to do. I hope u got my concern. Thanks for help and suggestion....................

Dariwal Ji, Thanks for the link. It seems like I have been doing the right thing Connecting S-video output from laptop to s-video slot in TV. Picture quality is great. But I dont want to use laptop all the time to watch TV(as you know if you can watch nepali TV here you dont want to watch at least for few days ) and looking some way to connect some way to connect desktop with TV. Link says something about VGA connection let me try it. Please let me know if anyone has easy solution.

OR you can buy a new graphics card with S-video output. any new graphics card these days have S-video output, such as Nvidia or ATI cards. open your box and install it in PCI slot, or express if you have newer version or AGP. figure out which one you have before you buy. then use the S cable you already have to connect it to tv. 2 benefits from this. 1. Better graphics and quality in your computer with games or any other stuff 2. You get to watch stuff in your comp on TV yahoo!
