While Madhav Nepal is blowing his trumpet over how he succeeded in reaching an understanding with the Maoists, Girija is clearly saying that no collaboration can be done with them until they abandon arms. Girija is also stressing that they do not want to get rid of Monarchy. - http://www.kantipuronline.com/kolnews.php?&nid=59300 Finally, it seems that Girija,s brian has been reinstated. so what would now happen to the 7-party alliance? It seems Nepali Congress and Ne Ma Ki Pa is already out of it. So, for now, Madhav Nepal seems to be a complete failure.

Bhoonte dai, While I am not questioning your right of free speech, it bothers me why you cannot seem to comprehend a very very basic concept: We need a system in which people can at least pick their leaders. If Mr. Nepal is not suitable to lead, people should have the rights to vote him out. Every leader should be subject to the verdict of a free and fair election. What is stupid about this idea that you've been marching against it with all your energy across various threads on sajha, huh?

Echoes, I was simply analysing Madhav Nepal's recent past: how he was shouting like a lion whereas the true cries were that of a hyena.

He also told the Maoists that the parties would not collaborate with them unless they abandon their arms. This is a very stron step taken by Girija, if he is indeed sincere about it. But for now, as Bhoonte has said, Madhav Nepal is indeed a big failure.

Well done Ramboyadav jee for unraveling yet another incident. If you check the news, not only have they thwarted the mass meeting but the Maoists have even manhandled the members of Nepali Congress. That is why I was saying the the alliance between the thugs and political parties was just a facade. On a positive note, it is a good news that Nepali Congress has not allied itself with the terrorists.

expecting Maoist to give away arms is like asking the king to give away his throne, are you kidding me after such a long almost a decade long insurgency maoist will give up their arms without getting what they want a republican nepal with out the king. people be practical and leave behind ideal philosophies. as far as madhav kune i don't think he is any better than the king but i would leave it to the people to decide through an election somebody mentioned about both the leaders and king being a rotton apples then hello choose a fresh mango instead. but for that we need to have democracy. for that the king needs to give his arrogance or else it will be taken care of.
