I don't know how much of this is correct, but here is an email I got forwarded-- seems outrageous if it is true.

are you talking about cost of running the palace or the net salary of the king?
I wonder what is the total cost of running the white house..

king deserves it because he owns everything in nepal unlike ohter head of states you mentioned above. nepal is his property (hell yeah that is true) his forefathers earned it for him. nepali people should be very thankful that they are allowed to live on his property.

King is taking Nepali people's money and then he's using the same money to gain power to suppress the nepali people. He pisses on the same plate he eats from. If he was smart at least he would clean the plate he eats from.

He takes money from general people and treats them like they are some untouchable animals.
