6 criminals, who were hiding within the premises of Prithivi Narayan Campus, and encouraged by the political parties of Nepal, went on a rampage and destryoed public properties. Besides threatening shopkeepers and pelting stones at passing vehicles, they managed to set fire to some motorcycles.

The Nepal Police, with urgent help from Nepal Army, were constrained to take precautionary measures so that the mindless riot did not spread further. In the process, the six thugs were subdued, after repeated warnings. Business owners and public around the area were thankful to the security force for controlling the thugs before they went completly out of control.

The Nepal army, after facing some criticism due to an isolated incident related to an insane soldier, did a good job in salvaging its long-standing reputation.
