I am here is Reno since past 2 yrs.
It's small town with population of around 300,000. It is 3 hour drive from San Francisco.
The weather is not so bad. Last year we had lot of snow but this year looks ok.
Nowadays temp. is mid 40. Summer is little bit hot due to desert landscape. It is almost like Kathmandu valley.
This is one of the fastest growing city in US after Las Vegas.
Many people are migrating from CA due to comparatively low living cost and not so far from CA.
About Nepalese community, there are around 13 students at University of Nevada Reno, most of them grad students. Other 6-7 families with permanent resident status are also in Reno/Carson city (29 miles south of Reno and state capital of Nevada).
