Do you guys know if it is better to marry someone who's been in permanent resident status for 5 years before they become citizen or wait till they get thier citizenship?
Also, after taking the citizenship test , do they have to wait to get thier citizenship? and how long do they have to wait to sponsor their spouce? If the person who needs to get sponsored is in H1-b status, legally entered united states and has no immigration or criminal issues.
Person who's sponsoring has received G.C from thier naturalized parent and became resident at the age of 15.
I would be very greatful for some help.
