Rubin is a college student, highfly, not underage. He does it on his own--from composing his lyrics to singing them, sometimes parodies, and has received threats on his life from Mandales several times. But he is a brave man; those threats seem to have only emboldened him. Amazing. We should salute people like him.

He has right to express his feeling.
You as an adult Please listen to him and activate your turbocharger

Or you just cannot tolerate what he is singing about.
He is a great singer with selfmade text and he is emplyed by the parties.
He is not forced to work to wake up guys like you.
He is on his own wish.

Start from your own house

One good thing i admit the 10 years of violence in Nepal has brought about is that it has indeed crushed the feudal structure of the rural society... empowering every single person to speak up against his/her oppressors... this is a great thing and whether you like them or not, the maoists deserve most of the credit for having made this possible...

just imagine anyone singing anything close to this in the heart of kathmandu 10 years ago...

Amirakane, I am not against democracy. But I am against anybody who is using it as a mean to bring their own self style rule. Even Gyane says he is for democracy. Even maoists say they are fighting for democracy. DOes this make any sense to you?

It's true that everyone knows to preach about democracy but hardly any1 practice it whether it be kg, maoists or political parties or even us. It's also sadly true that political parties might forget this gifted child once it gets democracy. But still this boy sings from heart, and I really would like to buy his cassette (if he has any). The other sad part is that he sings in the streets but he still doesn't get chance to go to school, and lasttime merosansar was asking for donations to support his school.
