What will be the future of Nepal and her people ?

Mr. King is quite Obstinate in his 'ku' decision. As you know he totally ignored to anybody and even D Camp who visited the king recently. Mr Prachanda and his followers have spent more than 10 years in Underground so I recon they won't gonna give up just like a fingertip .They get used to it to fight until the end.

On the other side political forces love to be in streets or argue each other to get top up another for power. Still they will not give up untill the end coz the way they approach for protest is ' a part of their life and they just love it'. And the internationals are keeping their eagel eyes in the small himalayan kingdom ......

hmmm seems really complicated situations ....

By the way, your views pls ?

alson,
i don't trust the parties. they had similar street protests a few years ago and when ser bahadur deuba was appointed prime minister by the king he said ..'now i am in power; the mistakes made by the king previously appointing suryabahdur thapa as PM of nepal has been corrected'. kasto ironic!!! and after he came to power, he did shit!!!
maoists cannot be trusted. their ideologies sound great and i support their causes, but their practise is more or less contradictory to waht they say they believe in. and lets not even get started about the monarchy. so with these three groups in conflict in one another, there is a lotttt of tension. i cannot really predict what is going to happen. power is a highly addictive thing u know. so i don't think any groups will be willing to give up.
the only reason why parties and maoists agree to come to some kind of consensus was because they had a common enemy. if, hypthetically speaking, king goes out of the picutre, there will probalby be a huge tension between the two groups for central authority. so my safest hypothesis is that nepal is not becoming a nirvana state
anytime soon.
what do u predict alson?

Whoever mourns, the ball is in King's court! He is a man with a great ambition since a child, it reflects from his image.

Everybody knows in their head ' Raja le ee chodla!'. Parties think that taking international supports and keeping Maoists along with, would be possible to overthrow the king. But Internationlly, on top of US rather supports to the King than accepting Maiost to along with Parties.

King is gainming strong support from Bejing/Russina and some other countries. All times best relation wiht China is something boost of to the King.

India as a big BLACK CAT always wants to see Nepal a small rat, so that he can play with whatever he wants ... so India is really not interested to see peace stability in Nepal.

It likely seems to happen that the king will oppose to everybody for some years, he will even ready to welcome Giraja to be PM under him ... Deuba is already in Line.
Parties still have to make a sensitive decision. They can not simply go with the king spitting over Maosits. They know as lfc123 says Maoists are taking some serious issues in some cases. So parties will be losers at the end.

Maoists will be more aggressive as they gonna lose their cadres in the offensive strategies of the King. There will be more bloodbath ahead ....

Would may come to halt if something diasters happen in the nation or strong pressures to KIng from International community/UN .. there might be a way out ....

to conclude my opinions, i can imagine more terrible situations in the days ahead ..............
AN
