Give me some ideas on how to defend speeding ticket. This jerk blamed me for going on 81mph on 55mph road. I was going only on 65mph. Does anybody have any interesting case?

That's 6 points in your license (if you are in NY). I would suggest you find a lawyer; he will most probably reduce it if you do not have previous violations. If this is your first offense, you can just go to the court. Depending on judge's mood, she might let you go with just a warning or some fine. It's always better to seek a lawyer.

I have been through the same situation. I was going 81 on 65 MPH zone. That was 4 points on my license. I got the ticket. Next day I gave a ticket to a friend of mine who knew a lawyer. He charged $100 (discount rate for a friend of a friend) and reduced it to a non-moving violation, for which I had to pay some 30 bucks, although I had some points on my license from previous violation. I didn't even see the face of the lawyer. He sent me the bill and I sent him the money.

well I'd say not to plead guilty to that and appear on the court and say that you were doing 65 instead of 81 and say that the radar could have been malfunctioning and that the officer read it incorrectly. the judge will definitely set another day for your trial and the officer who gave you the ticket has to be present when you not plead a guilty. if the fine is above $600( MN) you can have an attorney for free or else you got to get one yourself.
