Well, like i said before, Talk to your international advisor first. You'll have to write a letter about why you were out of status? For this question, the low income because of maoists situation will be fitted tight. So what you gotta do is to reply for in-status which might cost you $300 or sth like that? After couple of months, ya will get a letter approved or disapproved. Any other questions, consult virus MC(marshal).
