I heard it is going to be in a new venue, I don't think it is organized by ihelpnepal.org. If they had done it then, their logo or name would be there.

But still I am going to that party "jasko vaye pani" and so are my fren's. It's nepali new year time, it's time to party nepali style. Redstone are you nepali or american? when was the last time were you at any nepali parties?

DMV sounds good to me.. it sounds like Department of motor vehicle but now it means.. DC-Maryland-Virgina-Party... . They got a nice website too if you click the flyer in sajha.. it will take you to their website
www.dmvpartynow.com ....site ramrai cha nepali bro ko

see you all on saturday... and don't forget your dhaka topi... I think I saw in the flyer? :(
sathi ho!!!! see if anyone can lemme borrow their topi?

FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS PARTY AMERICAN STYLE (only nepali style)

Why should someone put a “Dhaka Topi” to celebrate the New Year? I think the recommendation of “dhaka topi” is a strategy to sell some “stale topis” that are laying down on the basement of some wanna-be a businessman’s house. Besides, the “dhaka topi” doesn’t represent an honest and naïve Nepali citizen; it usually reminds me of a crooked, wicked and corrupted politician. Dhaka topi also demotes the look and personality of a person. I always think our Royal-Lads look more dashing when they are without the Dhaka topi. Last but not least, why “Dhaka Topi” is called “Dhaka Topi”? Why it is not called “Nepali Topi” if it is so precious to us? Doesn’t “Dhaka” belong to Bangladesh? Therefore, one should think deeply enough before being so much proud about it and mandating its use in Nepalese gatherings.

Katziman stop tripping, Dhaka topi does not signify topi from bangladesh but rather the material used in making the topi. That type of cloth used to make the topi is called Dhaka.

You are welcome.

Dude, change your name before giving lecture in Nepali. I know what dhaka means in Dhaka topi. My point was, why use such a misleading name to signify our patriotism? Why can't it simply be called a "Nepali Topi"?

Oh, by the way, if someone don't know where it is..according to the picture, it looks like the place you go thru behind Pizzerai UNO. im not sure, if that resturant is still there.

If you take metro, then go thru the doors next to Ruby Tuesday, then go up the escalator and keep goin thru bridges, and doors, you will see it.

If coming from ballston side, go thru the bridges, in second level to cross the Wilson Blvd thru bridge, and go thru sets of doors to get there.

if you decide to go thru front, its behind pizzeria uno.(INSIDE)
