Everyone abroad may know by now that we are going through difficult time in Nepal. But there is also good news.

The political parties had always been saying that they would gather a large force on this strike which is going on now. But no major demonstration has been seen anywhere except some newspapers funded by India and political parties. Everyone is glad that the much publicised demonstration is going to be over without achieving anything. Now it is believed here that these parties will simply have to cover their face to save embarrassment and the party workers would say goodbye to parties.

So indeed good days are coming to Nepal.

Rambhu,

Do you mean that there were never a good day in the histry of 237 years of Shah Dynasty and only now good days are coming?

Yes, you are right. No Nepali was feeling good before. I argue that even the Maha-slave of royal's Chulasi Giri is nothing more than a slave. How come real Nepali people experience any good day then? Yes, good days are coming with the abolision of Shah dynasty forever from our history.

Congratulations, you have shown an evidence of long vision. this is good sign. Every Panche mentality will change their blind faith sooner or later.

every nepali should learn a lesson from this catastrophe, that is to be true to ones heart and the motherland, these so called leaders of the political parties are equally responsible for the current situation. They cared more for themselves and their near ones than the nepali people. People fought in 1990 for the democracy, innocent people were killed that time, and we finally got democracy, but what happened???? There was no Gayne in power in post-panchayat period. The fact is we lack discipline and honesty. There is a wrong conception in most of the nepali people that political power is the ladder to ones financial success, and these are the same people who would put our nation in stake. Anyways, ones bitten twice shy, the current situation is definitely worse. History will not forgive us if we let the same thing happen when this turmoil is all over.

Protestors are decreasing from thousand to hundred and now to ten. By tomorrow, it will be negligible.

Thank god people were not fooled by the empty promises of corrupt leaders this time.

As I said, number of protestors can be counted by your fingers in Kathmandu. Even the children, who used to throw stones at the police are not doing so anymore. They are simply happy that they could take away some money from leader's agents and buy some food from it.

I went to Kirtipur today to see a friend. He is local resident of Kirtipur. He told me local residents of Kirtipur were not at all interested to do demonstrations. Everyone just wants peace.
