Hey guys can you tell me really what is the nepal maoist really fighting for. Is it that they, (maiost) wants to make Nepal a total communist state or once the King is thrown, they (maiost) would let the people chose their leader and follow democratic republic style of government. me..........lacking nepal's current conflict due to being away from nepal for almost my life. i apprceiate it

Bornfree, Maoists and the leaders of Nepal all are fighting for one thing. Magic chair in Sinhadarbar. But people know it and that is why they are not supporting the protest now. That is also why the leaders had to pay small children to throw stones to police in name of demonstrations.

I totally agree with Rambhuyadav but would like to add something more. Maoists first want Singadurbar at any cost and then they will apply their communist dictatorship.
