I am not against king, but i am against the autocratic rule of king. If king agrees to be inside palace like Britain and Japan, then i would say OK.
I support ceremonial king because its our heritage, its been more than 200 years we have been respecting that organisation. We have many festivals relating to king like bhotejatra, ghodejatra, and many more. Before this sucide step taken by king only maoist were against king, they would have eventually come into talk and would have agreed for ceremonial king, if king hasn't come this forward with this sucide step. Now the time has gone further ahead, and now the whole country has gone mad with him, king gyane are you even aware about that ?
Guys even who are said to be well eduacted in Nepal and diasporic Nepali who love nepal still don't want abolishmnet of monarchy. I think king still has some numbers of supporters. Last time i got the chance to read Himal nepali tabloid. It had some survey about the current situation and most people on that survey were only against autocratic king not ceremonial king. So, i think he still has time to correct his mistakes done in past.
