Hello all,

Recently I bought Motorola V557 (quad band) cell phone with my service provider Cingular, which I intend to send Nepal. But one of my friends told me that I have to unlock it before sending Nepal.
I don't have any idea about this. Should I have really unlock this phone ?
Can anybody suggest me in this regard?
Your help is highly appreciated.
Thanks,

Cheers,

Anyway if it is a latest mobile it is always better to unlock in the country you brought it in because in nepal it can be expensive. if it old mobile it can be easily done in nepal in anyplace but i recommend bisalbazar second floor . may be shop number 215 if i am right
