unfortunately, this war has benefited the top brass the most. the national budget has skyrocketed, with monies pouring into army supplies, recruitment, weapons, etc. the flow of money trickles down from the top; the ones wiht more medals naturally get more contract arrangements, kickbacks, etc. now, this is a very good tactic for ensurign continued loyalty from the top ranks. how about the mid-level and lower-level officers? could there be a mutiny?
