It is high time and I feel deem necessity to talk about politics these days. After all, I am a nepali boy and I can not think of the value of my soul without ever being involved in politics. In spur of second, I can get shot by a stray bullet while I try to bargain a 60 Rs lemon from a local vendor. I do not have to chant no political jargons nor do I need to go to any julus. "Desh ko laagi maryo bichara". Who knows what I was up to? Nobody would know my hot lemon crave and I can still be a martyr. So, who can argue that we nepalis are not benefited by these great little thing called politics?
Talking about the deal, our SPA boys are trying to open a new saloon inside Singhadarbar. I hope they better perform extreme makeover for next round of Mr. Nepal competition. I was overjoyed on the day when we had our democracy back and immediately called home. I was ecstatic because they very same day, I was also approved for my greencard. But, I was shockingly surprised to hear that nobody likes the
word 'democracy’ anymore. "Loktantra bhannus..aba prajatantra ko jamana gayo", my fifteen year old nephew tried to decipher the real political agenda. What a mess!. I felt stupid to ask about long gone prajatantra deal. "How about ganatantra?", I threw him with the next round of question. " Next step..aawula jasto cha", he made it so succinct before I was cut off from this "Bhailoag" phone card. That little echo 'awula jasto cha' has been humming my eardrums eversince. Yesterday, I made a decision and put off my plan to visit home this summer. Ma ni aba Ganatantra ayesi janchu hola.
