I'm gonna be around Huntington Beach, CA area sometime this month. Question for those who are familiar to that area. What's the cool spot to hang in the week end? DO you recommend any good martini lounge in main st? Someone told me about a little Nepalese restaurant around Hollywood, Does it still exist?
Thank you

Dell,

Kathmandu kitchen has the worst Nepali food in the world. It might be better to find another Nepali Resturant or take them to an Indian resturant located in Artesia, CA.

have been living in so-cal for a while and have heard quite a lot about kathmandu kitchen in venice beach. never been there though. i think there's a nepali-tibetan restaurant in pasadena too. mylove - if you have to visit an indian place, there are better ones in pasadena and orange county.

A better place to go is "Nepal - Tibet house" in Pasadena - it is in what is referred to as "old town" Pasadena (I think the closest cross street is Holly and Colorado but you should be able to find it on the Web).

As far as Huntington Beach is concerned--that's in Orange County (Yeah "The O.C"!!) and if the weather holds, then of course hit the beach...Huntington also has a nice boardwalk and some small private art galleries etc...it really depends on what you're interested in- in either case, because it is L.A, you have to be prepared to drive quite a distance (especially from O.C to Pasadena--that alone should be about a 45 - 60 minute commute!!)
