We are hearing lots of voices about the Army to be tried specially from the Maoist Supremo. Should he really be shouting out really that loud?

How about the Maoist Atrocities!

Maoist 'liberators' kill 36 passengers on packed bus
From Catherine Philp in Kathmandu

AT LEAST 36 bus passengers were killed and scores more wounded when Maoist rebels detonated a landmine along a road in southern Nepal yesterday in one of the bloodiest attacks against civilians in the nine-year-long insurgency.
The bus, which was travelling near Narayangadh, in Chitwan district, home to one of Nepal’s most famous national parks, was crammed with more than a hundred passengers inside and on the roof.

It was blown apart as it went through the village of Madi, an area where Maoist rebels have been gathering in strength over the past couple of years. Army officers who arrived soon afterwards described a scene of carnage. “The place is littered with blood. Limbs are scattered around the site,” one said. “Many women and children have been killed.”

Here is the quote from 2001 and if you analyze the situation from then till now - hasn't this all come true?

Prachanda says:

* "We decided that we should initiate People's War from different parts of the country. We should centralize in mainly three areas-East, Middle, West-and the capital. Cities should also be another point, not for armed clashes, but for propaganda and such things. And one other area where we should concentrate work is in India, because more than seven million Nepalese live in India. Therefore India should be the other point where we should make efforts to resist the ruling classes. "

As for trying Army for war crimes - would that include Girija, Sher Bdr and others who were the first to use Army despite King Birendra's reluctance. Sounds like Tundikhel would be a good place for the Maoists "people's court"!
