Well, I am putting down some of my experiences from my amazing times that i encounter at Sudhar Kendra. It takes quite a time to accept that yourself is addict. Not to forget that alcoholism is also addiction. Alcohol is already taged as drug by WHO. It is easy to get rid of other addiction but There is two addiction which are most dangerous
1. Alcoholic
2. Sex

Somehow these both addiction are connected. If some one is alcholic then sex comes natural in the path and sexual addiction will no wonder lead to alcholism.

* I drank for happiness and becme unhappy
*I drank for sociability and became argumentative
* I drank for friendship and made enemies
*I drank for sleep but woke up distrubed
* I drank for strength and felt week
* I drank to fell better and acquired health problem
* I drank for bravery and became afraid
* I drank for relaxation but got the shakes
* I drank to make conversation easier and slurred my speech
* I drank for freedom but became slave
* I drank to forget problems and saw them multiplied
* I drank to cope with life but it turned my life unmanageable

We have to understand addiction is a disease which has to be treated like other disease. We addicts are victim of emotions. It has been proved that addicts are patient of emotion. The emotional hanger over pulls one deeper into addiction. The addiction is also called x factor disease. This is consists of 5 factors
1. progessive
2.obssesive
3. compulsive
4. denial
5 weak emotion

There is only 2 end with this disease
1. death
2.treatment centre

If you are lucky enough to have help and get 2 end.

Sign of chronic phase in alcoholism

* He starts to keep stpck of alcohol as for killing reservation in first hour
* He becames restless if he dont get it
* He avoid all the responsibilites
* Consumption goes higher in short period
*He makes promise next day not to consume on that amount on his guilt or shame
* He looses his self respect and morality
* He becomes liar and borrows lot of money
* He develops indefinable fear

Remember this is a disease and it can be healed. Get yourself life education not graduation. Graduation gives you job but life education gives u skill to live happy life. You will learn to be happy without drugs and get happiness out of small sucess. It wil make u realise expectation will lead you to pain.

Alcoholism is a big problem. If you are drinking anymore than 3 beers a week can class themselves as alcholics. This figure is statistics quoted in the Harvard Medical Journal on drug and Alcohol abuse. Nobody can change themselves after becoming an alcoholic. You can only modify your behavior to fight the cravings. This modifcation comes in through immense pressure or setback a person may suffer. The setback is usually created when someone get caught like drunk driving, has family separation where his/her partner leaves them, or they get fired from work etc. When these setbacks occur then a person understands and realises the coo-coo mess he/she was in....

Families members effected by a person who is alcoholic can impose the law by getting s court order for them to quit and if they are not persistant with the court order then they usually end up in jail due to violation. I am not saying people who are alcholics are soley at fault. I feel it is the sorrounding enviornment like friends circle, work and at times the community. I am not saying drinking is bad but it needs to be done within boundaries.

What you have explained about alcoholics is 100%? Alcohlics should never be provoked in anyway by instigating fights and arguments as they go more out of hand. These people need support and love and a right person next to them who think about his/her welfare. Not a bunch of mofos that are standing around to gain benefit out of the person by using him/her. Alcoholics get used in everyway as they have no control over their emotions or any other senses per say.
