Now you are feeling better do regular stretches and some exercises that focus on your lower back on a regular basis or do yoga to prevent future injuries. One more thing get away from the computer- walk around, jog or go to the park for a stroll, sitting in one position for extended time is not good for your back.

Hey Shiv, you somekind of fitness trainer? Gimme some tips will ya buddy? Ok, my breakfast is usually a glass of milk and a carrot muffin at about 6 ish... then i head to university and run on the tradmill for 30 minutes- thats three kilometres...lunch is usually chinese stuff (chowmein, fried rice) or subway (roactes chicken sandwich) or some other kind of meat stuff...then after i get home, i sometimes have 2 samosas or noodles (if i didnt have that for lunch) or roti. Then its dinner time with daal bhat tarkaari. Anything wrong with that? I run 3 days a week and weight train 2 days....i have a good figure but i wanna lose more UN-wanted fat.....help me in anways? Summer's here and id like to get in shape before winter kicks in. Thanks buddy.

TimeTraveller, As long as you are not consuming more than 2000 calories a day, you should be fine. Moreover, running 30 mins in the treadmill is awesome. Just something I learnt in my fitness class, the heartrate at which you run is important factor in losing weight. The heartrate at which you should run to loose weight is 85% of (200-your AGE). I also heard that stretching BEFORE you workout is a myth, and it doesnt do a squat for your fitness level. Try to run outdoors rather than the treadmill -- proven to be effective. Good luck on getting ready for summer. Hero hunu - and i hope you find the girl who can slap you to seduction (the one you always wanted) heheh..:))

wow, you're taking fitness classes? Maybe I should join you. It'll be cool to have a Nepali partner in it- more specifically a female one. :P Thanks for the advice though- I have heard that too. I'm taking spring classes plus running student clubs (some of which are pretty *slap* *slap* sexy) is gonna take a toll on me. I soo need to keep myself in shape, both mentally and physically. Oooh lala.

AznshawtY, In allopathy there is no proven medicine for back pain. I suffered a lot with severe back and leg pains last yr. My problem was sitting for a long period at work. Tried many things but nothing worked -- not even walking every hr. But then I found out this homeopathy forum online and posted my problem there. - http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forums.php They gave me Colocynth 30 (a homeopathic remedy) which worked like a magic. My 60% pain was gone immediately after taking the remedy and 40% after few weeks. Since then I love homeopathy, I try to avoid allopathy now. There is no side effects in the homeopathy remedies but you have to find a good dr. I know u r already feeling good now, just thought to post this in case u wanted an alternative natural cure.

Try some warm full fat milk prior to sleeping, some items made from soya like tofu or maseura. Back pain associated with head ache during periods is all the cause of hormones, regulate them by drinking more water, exercise and acupuncture if you can withstand the fear of needles.
