Hi all sajha members,

I am planning to operate a stock broking company registered in Kathmandu Nepal. what are the fees and legal requirements for obtaining such a licence from the securities commission nepal.

I would really appreciate a reply regarding all the queries above, from anyone well informed in these matters. I have enquired about these issues with the staff at securities board Nepal but they said that the board is not issuing any such licences at present. Is it because they are favouring their friends and relatives or is it due to the under developed financial markets of the kingdom? clarification regarding these issues is much appreciated.
