Does any one have idea about the best deal of air tickets for round trip from Kathmandu to Los angeles ? What would be the best time between July or August? Is there any effect on price with the duration of return date? 2 months or 4 months or 6 months which one can give best deal ? Thanks Mustange

I was suggested by a very friendly travel agent (Sarala Sharma) that buying tickets from Nepal is cheapter than buying from US. She also told me that Qatar Airlines has some good deals and you can ask your relatives to go to Qatar airlines counter instead of travel agents to save the commission. I am going to do that for my mother.

Mustange, Here's what Nepalese travelling from LA-KTM-LA should do: Ask your family members/honest friend in Nepal to 'pay' for your ticket in Nepal, thorugh one of the local travel agencies. Once they do that then ask them to Fax to the travel agent in LA or in other city your PTA (prepaid ticket advance). This way there is lot of saving. All the best and BON VOYAGE.
