No talks without parliament dissolution: Baburam Bhattarai
By Bhola B Rana

Butwal, 21 May: CPN (Maoist) leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai presented a condition and said there will be no dialogue without the dissolution of parliament, Rajdhani reports.

The same day Maoist spokesman Krishna Bahadur Mahara landed in the capital for talks Sunday, Bhattarai said parliament should be dissolved with the launch of talks.

Leader Bhattarai told Butwal FM Sunday parties had only " snatched power from the King".

"The change was only cosmetic," Bhattarai said and added there were no sweeping changes and the state was not reorganized.

Bhattarai angrily denied Maoists were extorting money.

"There are two powers and two economies in this country. We are not forcibly extorting money. We are only collecting voluntary taxes," he said.

Bhattarai said mistakes will be corrected.
