Action without any mistake
Kathmandu , 21 May: The government formed a special probe commission order to take actions against those security personnel who were involved in suppressing the people’s movement, writes Nepalipatra weekly.

Though the government had claimed to take action against those who were involved in suppressing the agitation, some of the security personnel were suspended from their post without any distinct reason.

The government suspended Assistance Inspector General ( AIG), Rajendra Bahadur Singh of Janapadh police alleging him for suppressing the people’s agitation, but Singh was in Indonesia during the entire period of the agitation.

If the government is taking action against those who played a major role to suppress the agitation, then why did AIG Singh was punished when he was not present in the country during the period of agitation.

could he have given orders from Indonesia to suppress the people's movement with brutality?

My assumption:

He was next in line for the post of Chief. Parties could not let that happen as he is related to palace via Himani.

He could have been in coma and still could have been suspended. So there!

It's like that other AIG Rabi Raj Thapa of armed police being suspended for heading HUMAN RESOURCE while Mr. Oli, incumbent acting IG who was, then, heading OPERATIONS.

hahahaha. It doesnot matter whatever the reason the govenment will make up the reason to suspend him.
i remembered one joke.

One husband had an habit of shouting to his wife everyday. The day she used to bring him fried egg as breakfast he used to shout " Why fried egg ? You dont know i want boiled Egg". And the day she used to bring boiled egg he used to shout " what . You dont know i like fried egg". Feeling disgusted one day wife makes two eggs one fried and one boiled. Not getting anything to shout about husband finds a reason and shouts " what . why did you boiled the egg that was meant to be fried and friend the egg that was meant to be boiled".

I think rejendra bahadur case is similar.

i have friends who know 2 of the police chiefs... i feel bad.. it wasnt their fault.. the police chiefs were simply doing their job.. enforcing the curfew....

but politics is a dirty game.. the SPA is mostly doing this for political reasons.

during the protests ...did people know what curfew means ?? curfew means dont go outside in the street... not a good idea.

The perplexing thing is, why Army chief Pyarajung is still in his post, quite untouched? Now politicians are more involved in declaring Nepal as secular, etc. etc. but are delaying in punishing those who were in the main stage trying to supress the movement. If king's asset is under probe why are the politicians so indifferent towards such corrupt army chief's assets. Naming Girija as a prime minister was a mistake indeed, at least if other politicians like Makune , no matter who inept they are, would have acted faster in putting the corrputs behind the bar.

Then what about makune's assets --- what would happen to it. He had nothing before... ie in 2046.

This is to tell your there is a huge difference b/w the King and Girija and the gang. The King never does anything against national interest. Girija and the gang will go any extent for the seat.

I am not implying that Makune is better than Girija (Makune is another goon who should be listed as criminal in the first place). Just wanted to show that any other politician in place of Girija might have acted differently (may be for good or for worse).

Makune I believe was one of the murderers of the bahun zamindaars of Jhapa along with Jhalanath, Manmohan and his brother bharatmohan and the rest few.
