If you have a camera and you are going to the ANA in New Jersey, don't lose the chance to win $200!

Sajha.com is giving away $200 to the person whose album of ANA pictures is viewed the most.

It's very simple. You take pictures anyways. Why pass a chance to win $200? You have a camera. It's a great opportunity to have fun with it, and make a little cash with it! Not only will it be fun to actually make use of your camera - that you paid more than you wanted to, it will also be fun for many people who could not make it there to see numerous photos of the event from different perspectives.

Note: you can use your sajha username/password to Log into www.ramjham.com in order to create your album. Alternatively you can request a new username/password right from ramjham.com

San bro,

awesome idea, but what about privacy? i mean people will take pictures of anyone anytime and will post here. don't you think that their privacy may get marred in such cases? i don't want to sound negative but it will be like papparazzis taking picutres of known/unknown people (girls especially) for the 200 bucks prize.

just a thought

Loote

Hey Loote bro,

There are always event photos shared in different websites. I don't think it's possible to get everyones permission when you take pictures of community events. You do have to ask when you want to take pictures of people in a close range photos.

As in regular event photos, sajha.com is receptive to feedback from users and we will be happy to remove any pictures that are brought to attention.

Needless to say, everyone should show common courtesy while taking pictures.

San bro, the idea will not work unless you make sure that one sajha visitor can visit one picture/album only one time. Otherwise, those posters and their wishers will spend hours in hitting up particular album several time. I guess you have that mechanism to stop such thing to make it fair game, so you are coming up with such idea.

Thaha Payen bro,
There are few things in place to deter those kind of views, but there are always different ways to beat the system. Having said that, sajha.com will reserve the right to select the winner who it deems to be deserving.

Bro San
You do these events in USA only. Don't you have such plans for Nepalis living in Australia?

Oz, how big are the Nepali gatherings down under? I am thinking of having monthly $100 photo album contests and you can participate with event pictures from your location as well.

Currently there are not very many Nepali visitors from Australia, maybe you can help spread the word about sajha. It would be a pleasure to have a greater participation from Nepalese from Australia and for that matter from any other countries. People constantly comment that sajha is so US oriented, but it will only be as diverse as the visitors to the site.

Oz, I hope you can participate with photos whenever you guys have the next event out there.
