I donot like France at all, but Zidane produced a scintillating performance today. Hats off to the guy! I think Zidane and Ribery were the man of the match for me today. What a display by the French. Thats the best I have seen them play since EURO 2000. It was a thorough, disciplined performance by them and they deserved to win. Brazil on the other hand were reckless, they did not click with such a star studded line up, Ronaldinho was pathetic to say the least and what can I say about Ronaldo. I remember talking to my friends the other night about how Ronaldo was playing in this World Cup and I thought he wasn't running, he wasn't making plays and he was lazily lacking and lucklustre. But my friends, who are infact a die hard Brazil fan were saying, "thats the way he plays". I go, what? Thats the way he plays, without making run how can the team mates pass you to score man? You can't sit down there outside the D-area to whack a few and score. No energy, no stamina, today Brazil paid big time because of their finishing and entire blame should lie on the shoulders of the over hyped Ronaldo. Agree he was a great finisher, but maybe, just maybe, his time was up. Its Brazil for god sake, where is the next generation of young strikers. Why not give them a chance, istead of relying on Ronaldo so much. So much for Brazil, I am happy they are out and next should be Portugal.

It is good that Brasil lost. Otherwise, it would have got its 6th title. already too much!! Between Italy and Germany, I go for Itality; and between Portugal and France, I go for Portugal. Finally, between Italy and Portugal, I go for Portugal. These so-called winners of the past world cups shoul let Portugal lift up the crown.
