Nepal Maoists kill journalist

Kathmandu: A journalist working for Nepal's state-run radio has been killed by Maoist rebels, two months after he was kidnapped from his home, a human rights group said on Tuesday. The rebels killed Tekendra Raj Thapa, correspondent of Radio Nepal and a human rights activist, after they abducted him in June from his home in Dailekh district, about 500 km from the capital, it said. The Maoists alleged he was spying against their organisation. Human Rights and Peace Society (HURPES), in a statement deplored the brutal killing of journalist Thapa. ``We are shocked to learn about the murder of journalist Thapa after his abduction by the Maoists,'' a statement issued by HURPES President, Krishna Pahari, said. Thapa is believed to have been killed on August 11. — PTI

The Maoists have entered into the 7th cease fire...does that mean the above killing that happened after 5th cease fire should be forgotten?

Ceasefires have come and gone. After the recent 7th cease fire, 15 people have been killed by Government of terrorism.
