I am worried because this is my country, Our country.

I do not want to tell the future generations that I let the country be sold to terrorists. I don't want to tell them that I didn't put a fight against terrorism. Not just me, there are 100000s of people with me.

I dont think there is anything wrong to give citizenship to the right people. If the madhises are correct then they should be provided citizenship, its their right.

I am not too knowledgible about the issue but if someone is born in Nepal he has right to be a citizen in Nepal like any other Nepalese. Of course one has to investigate how rightful their claims are, to avoid fraudulent claims, people might start taking dual citizenship in Nepal as well as in India. If not , if they are born here lived here, and for some reasons previous governments have not provided citizenship then they should.

I am talking bout the rightful ones, also it should be made law that ones claiming fraudulent citizenship should be felony and strict punishment should be implied. Hey if they are true then theres non wrong. Its just verification of their claim that needs attention.

These people are taking advantage of the fact that Nepal is at its knee and anything could happen so imagine what these people would do if they do get a citizenship. Another thing is they want citizenship to five million Madhesi and that too within few months now tell me how that works.

Its not question of how it works, we still have atleast a year till the assembly elections I believe. Obviously the initial demand will be 5 million including biharis and other indians. If Nepal passes a law that strictly punishes the people with fradulent claims then start accepting applications, I dont say there will be attempts for fraud but if the investigation or procedure is good then harsh punishment for the initial frauds will be good enough to make the rightful ones come forward. These issuse will be there whenever there is free boarder.

I am only concerned with the true claimer , the madhesis who were born in Nepal, lived here but still were denied Citizenship.

I know there will be flock of Biharis and dhotis coming to nepal and claim Citizenship. Its a tough job but I am just in favor of peple where not provided citizenship, who should have been.

1]The process of citizenship in Nepal is very hard and difficult in the given time frame of 1 year , it is not possible to actually find the deserving n non deserving candidates.
2]Nepal is one of the most strict country in giving citizenship in the world.And it should be cause ,it has to protect the flow of immigrant from India.
3]Along with Madeshi , you should now there are million indian muslims in Nepal.They will enter the valid status.These are the contricbuting factors for terrorisim that INDIA is always
so pissed.
BEING BORN IN NEPAL DOESN'T MEAN/GUARANTEE GETTING CITIZENSHIP!
If that was the case , all the poor bihari will come to nepal and give birth in Nepal.Just like illegal mexican giving birth in USA.although ..nepal is not as prosperous as USA..they have better opportunity and less competition in Nepal.
If we do that , then we will be sideling all nepali and giving priority to undeserving people..Just like illegals getting citizenship in USA..strange but true.. ecouraging illegals to flow in the usa .Similar concept applies to bihari flowing in Nepal.

You know Zingkiri what will you leave your future kid another bihari to give citizenship to.
