Why did Bill Gates quit Microsoft ?

To do the charitable work of helping Windows crash victims I guess.

Bill gates with 50 billion is giving away his money to charity and another giant warren buffett worth 35 bil is also going charity. Our country doesnt have 500 million to start the melemchi project for 500000 ppl to drink water. How unfortunate is that.And ppl with billions are going charity. I wonder if nepali were billionaires like bill gates and warren buffett they would go charity?

I guess they just realized that it was unfair to have billions by themselves. And people rarely realize that...most rich people in nepal are so much entangled in their social lives that they have hardly any time to think about the unprivileged ones....

life is not fair, so what .. there are millionaire and their are poor ...and trust me this will be there till the whole world blows in to pieces..no communision have ever been able to eradicate this otherwise cuba everybody should have food, china - transformation from communism into capitalism still people are poor.

bill gates is doing for his own satisfaction.No one can force him to do so.he did this with his own will.At lease people have heart..people don't need people like prachanda to tell them they need to donate money!!!it is free country , free will, freedom to keep money as well donate money.

oyee sajha mori....bill gates is not feaudlistic. He did not use his forefather's political power to overcome other under previeleged ones. He became rich on his own and now he wants to go charity for a good cause. I dont think he gives a rats ass about what he has and what others dont. He doesnt think that it was unfair for him to earn so much money. He did it fairly too but now he wants to give it away. He didnt think it was unfair and he doesnt think it is unfair. Now he just wants to give away. Dont politicize every thread up.

you dont have to be a millionaire to give money. if you're in states and even if you making only 1000 a month being a student, you can still afford to give 20bucks a month for a good cause to nepal.
