I am leaving for Nepal soon. I made a new passport in the US as my old one expired but my visa is in the old one. Do i need to get visa in the new one when i am in Nepal so that it is easier for me? Has anyone done it before. Appreciate your suggestions.

Sheetalb - trust me ke!! you just carry two passports with you!! I did the same thing and it was fine ke!! uffff!!
you passport's expired not your visa ke!! uffffff!!
It's simple ke just carry two passports with you and when your old visa expires then you get a new visa in your new passport and discard the old passport ke!! :)

:)

Hey Sheetalb:

I also went back to Nepal and came here to the US without anyone questioning why I had visa in my expired passport. Why are you taking unnecessary jhanjhat? Why you want to spend $100 for application for nothig, dude. Grow up, people are making fun of your ignorance here.
Listen to what Elixir, Nails and Rein said in this thread. Rest is up to you.

Does anyone know whether 3 year old kid can get a Nepalese Passport? Usually, kids below 5 years are listed in the Father`s or Mother`s passport.
