Oli aborts King, China meet

Foreign Minister KP Sharma Oli (CPN-UML) has intervened to abort a planned meeting between a top Chinese diplomat looking after South Asia and the King, a diplomatic source said.
China had requested a meeting with the King.
The Chinese diplomat requested a meeting with the King even as the head of state was sidelined by US and European visitors after 24 April.
Vice-Foreign Minister Wu Tawei arrives today on a three-day visit leading a high-level delegation.
Wu is the top Chinese official to visit Nepal after the April changes.
