It's disappointing to see how Nepalese can never get over the cultural dominance of Bollywood. I have no doubt in my mind that bollywood has been a vital component of India's armor in keeping Nepal under its umbrella. The sovereignty of the country is at stake and Kathmandu has cell phone boom with people competing for catchy hindi tunes. Time and again I used to defend how nepali culture, nepali food and nepali psyche are different from Indian when confronted by my classmates, turns out i was the ignorant one.
