Guys, My so gradad is an American, He lives in London. He is coming to US in December. He is 67 years old now, and his driving license has been expired for 7 years. His orginal residency is in Massachusetts state ... he still have US passport ... can anyone suggest me what are the chaces that he can drive here in US now .. ?

wot? wot??, my father had a similar situation and he was able to renew his license without any problem. his license had expired for the last 2 years ago as he was out of the country, so the new license is now valid for the next 3 years before he will have to renew it again (since you have to renew your license every 5 year, regardless of it had expired or not they counted the time from the date it was last expired and add 5 years to it). in your case it was 7 years, which will be 5 years + 2 years, so i would assume they will renew your grandfather's license for the next 3 years. hmmmm did that make sense? don't worry buddy, they won't make your ole man take another driving test with parallel parking and all that...lol good luck :-)
