I like loote when he flirts with Azn and other b*tc*es. He is funny, put across his points effectively and has Hugh sense of humor. Needless to say he is well-educated and loves Nepalese.

Though we can’t deny monarchy did not do much to develop our country, there was peace. Monarchy lacked vision to move forward, still Nepalese were happy because they were living in the sangria-la of the earth. There was a sense of nationality and unity among the people.

The time has changed. Everything has been politicized. Mistrust among the people and division between different cast/tribes has started to grow. The country became lawless, corruption is deep-rooted and killings of innocent people become normal. Teaches have been killed in front of their students, fathers have been murdered in front of their infant child. There is democracy everywhere. Student can vandalize the vehicles, imprisoned their teachers but one has no right to deny ‘voluntary donation’. One can not debate party’s action otherwise he will be executed. Democracy has secured freedom to all murders and corrupted leaders.

Frustration and depression is common on every youth. They are frustrated either because they have no work or they have no opportunity to go aboard. Nepalese have exiled in one form or other. Loote you yourself have been exiled to USA. Still you are proud being in there for eight years. Where is the sense of nationality? Does not Nepal need educated people like yourself and your skills?? People complain about lack of opportunities in Nepal. Why can’t people create them?

Where do the problems lie? How all these problems arise?? Is this due to Monarchy or due to democratic practices of SPA-M??

We have come this far. Thanks to the success of two great ‘Jana-Andolon’ and countless ‘Banda’, ‘hadtall’ and ‘todfodd’.

We certainly can not turn back the clock. But can we set this example to our new generation that it is right to spread violence to achieve one’s objectives? Can you tell your children to take Maoist as their role model who has destabilized and held back the country, killed thousands to get rid of their enemy?

Prachada and Baburam have portrait themselves as Fidel Castro and Che Guevara who led Cuban revolution. Though Millions people admire Che and Castro, Cuba’s economy have not prosper under their leadership/communism.

Was Mahatma Gandhi’s principle of Satya-Graha and non-violence not successful on toppling British Empire?

Did Nelson Mandela not get freedom from his non violent struggle?

There are several ways you can put across your point. You don’t need to kill people to express your dissatisfaction.

So Loote, I don’t think you will ever convince me that Maoist killings were right and Nepalese should take them as their role-model.

Good Thoughts Anjeet!!

Loote is psycho and he is not alone .hehehe there are lot of brainwashed people who cannot think for themselves..this is the biggest tragedy.

The only reason i am not so against monarch is ,i don't see king as the most dangerous villian rather i see people of nepal the one responsible.

See what monarch wanted to do but in vain was to bring that peace back ,i give him benifit of doubt because his intentions where true and was welfare for common nepalese but again his method was wrong and i have said this several time.there is no way out than united politics ..not politics of violence or revenge.

The peace and unity we had years ago will never return to Nepal .No matter who comes to power now we are divided in the lines of ethnicity like never before .And thanks to maoist for exploiting this!!!!

Solution: divide nepal in lines of ethnicity ..what a brilliant idea..and looteand few others still thinks they are role model..just too sick..i feel like throwing up ..when educated nepalese who has the most comfortable life in capitalist and demoractic free nation being so hypocrite!!!!!!

Can we share our thought who is our role model ? I admire Che Gue Vara for his determination to the cause but the most influencial person to me is Mahatma Gandhi because he lived by his principles of NON-Voilence.

Anjeet,

first off, i did not expect that you would be so judgmental in your opinion to call azn and other sajha girls--b*tch*s (in your word). where did that come from? i could have easily ignored whatever you wrote after that but since this is a serious topic that you have aroused, i am here to put forth my views.

--let me say that you've got to respect "others" to see things in their entirety. you call azn a b*t*ch today, you would most definitely despise the sentiments of poor and suppressed people of our society. first thing that we nepalese failed to learn---to respect others!!! that makes a HUGE HUGE difference, my friend!

coming back to the subject, well i have a whole new thread already that attempts to explain the social disparity as our crux problem and the need for the social restructuring. if you don't understand that, then this whole discussion is trivial and worthless.

1) you've got to broaden your views and analytical ability to see what is good for nepal and what is not. you see peace in monarchy. you would even argue that panachayat era was far better off as we were a peaceful nation then. what you failed to envisage is the longevity and the limitations of the peace that you were offered. if you support monarchy just because for the sake of a respite from chaos then i may well call you a coward and a man devoid of self confidence! pardon me please!

2) what happened in 2007 BS, 2017BS, 2036BS, 2046BS or 2063BS. why did we have to go through a movment and upheaval once every decade? have you ever gave a thought for it? well, let me explain. although we went through political changes of multitude of magnitudes, our MAIN problem was NEVER addressed. the problem as i pointed out in the other thread is the parasitic social structure that we nepalese have been living in for centuries. until and unless someone comes up in front and dismantle the structure at status quo, nepal's peace is going to be a distant dream.

3) we may be bestowed upon with minor positive changes but the crux problem will remain as it is. we are fighting now, our sons and grandsons and their sons and grandsons will be fighting for it forever! whatever peace, if we really had, that you witnessed during panchayat era or during post 90 was fake and temporary..."social revolution" WAS inevitable. and in nepal that came through Maoists revolution!!!

4) we are in a transient phase now, and lots of very critical and decisive tasks are ahead of us. the maoists are YET to be tested. so any thinking for or against them may be judgmental and may be negative towards the peace process that we are going through at the moment.

5) If you want to understand maoism in nepal, you must take the image of conventional marxism and leninism out of your mind. they are not here to impose monolithic communism in nepal. they know its limitations in terms of effectiveness in a country like nepal and approval from international communities. what's wrong if we get what we need for nepal. what's wrong if social disparity problem is addressed? it had to come from one group. if it had come from monarchy, i might have supported the institution but since it came through maoists, i DO support them. Call me terrorist if you want, i WON"T mind!!!

i will come back later and will try to analyse and justify "Maoists violence".

well i dont know how could anybody could ever justify violence. contempt breed contempt, violence breeds violece and these voilence will continue in never ending vicious cycle. No war is ever justified. There is no such thing as war for or against terrorism. WAR ITSELF IS TERRORISM.

First thing first, I didn’t mean to offend Azn. If you look at her post you will see she is not decent character by any means. I have deep respect for Nepalese women who value their culture and are modest in expressing their views. Azn’s post often contains vulgarity and ignorant views-characteristics of b*tch*s. It’s funny reading them but in reality you can’t live with them. Let me sum off, I am not disrespecting anyone but express my dissatisfaction over those characters.
1. If I have to choose between Peace and prosperity, I would definitely choose peace. You will not prosper if there is no peace anyway.
2. I agree Monarchy did nothing to develop Nepal. It has no vision to run the country. The king is surrounded by bunch of old cra*ps from whom he takes advice.
3. Indeed we need change, but what is the modality for transition. One easy way is to take up arms and destabilise the nation to make listen to their demands. Prachanda recently said NC and UML got recognition because they choose to take up arms against the regime at earlier times. He has no other vision. So choose the same try and tested formula of violence. I mention the struggle of Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela on liberating their countries. They did it without weapons, which were difficult to carry out and took their whole life to achieve their objectives.
4. Have you heard anything about Maoist policies? What kind of bureaucracy do they want to establish? How are they going to change our economy? Baburam recently address the businessman that there won’t be many changes on our economic policy under their regime. If so what change can we expect from them? They just want to change the handle but will keep the same engine. Will that work?? Will that people’s aspirations??
5. Maoist’s one and only demand was constituent assembly election. Now they are in verge of getting that. What modality have they prepared for that? Have they prepared any norms of CA. how it is going to be held and how will the new legislation be drafted?
We don’t want change for the shake of change. It should bring new ideas and sense of achievements. How will the normal people be benefited from the new regime? Why do people want Maoist on power now? Because need of the current time is peace.
