I didn't read that but Thet Nepali ma Nepali ho ani gai khane bhasa ma Nepalese ho. Its my final answer

Used Nepali for language of Nepal and
Nepalese for the people of Nepal.

it's so simple yet people make it so difficult.

anyway Sanjog Rai is my good friend and he did a great job in writing this piece of article.

Simple as this is:

English language = Nepali Language
American People = Nepalese People

Don't take the equal sign as in math but I'm just trying to clarify by using an example!

For language I say Nepali, for citizenship I say Nepalese, as said by bornfree.

language nepalese=nepali

citizen nepalese = nepali

same thing. i have seen both being used.

Nepali or Nepalese...doesn't make difference the fact that nepali or nepalese is the poorest country in the world !!
hehehe..if a foreigner says oh you are nepalese ..i know nepal blah..blah..problems crap..u just reply back :no i am nepali. i think you are talking to wrong person buddy!!.

well personally people call me jap/chinese or vietnamese. it can be so embarrassing once in awhile. especially when i have to tell them i am nepali and mind you they got no idea what nepali is!!

then i tell them i am gurkha..........then they seems to see some lite.

And why is it so embarrassing if I may ask? Should they be embarrassed or you? Frankly this embarrassing "embarrassment" is misplaced. And you yourself call yourself "Gurkha" when you fully know that Gurkhalis are from Gorkha? Do you even know Nepali history? People don't know geography and you don't know your history. Well - that makes a good match!
