Former Ambassador to the United Nations from Nepal, His Excellency Murari Raj Sharma, and Mrs. Sharma, released their first album “Neelam” as lyricists Murari Adhikari and Neela Adhikari today, September 10, 2006 in Yeti – Nepalese and Japanese Cuisine Restaurant in Queens, New York.

Along with the CD “Neelam”, a compilation “Murari Ko Katha Haru” was also released.

The event was participated by many near and dear ones of Mr. and Mrs. Sharma, aka, Mr. and Mrs. Adhikari. Many spoke words of wisdom and praise of the wonderful couple. Among the speakers and audiences were not only Nepali New Yorkers, but also from Washington DC and Denver, Colorado. The event was hosted by Shailesh Shrestha and Sunita Bhattarai – who were both, as MCs, not only pleasure to listen to but were smooth in moving the event along.
