Sunkoshi, you got to do that right in the beginning so that your husband and you will get work permits and green card at the same time. There is a provision ( your lawyer will tell you if you have one) for your spouse to apply at the same time. Now a days, RNs get green cards in less than 6 months. My suggestion is: get a lawyer. No headaches Take care

You can hire your own lawyer...they will do everything for you. You got to tell your lawyer that you are married. Hospital doesnt need to know.

Talk to the lawyer provided by your hospital. Simple! Why would they ask if you are married or not? They don't care about it. It is your responsibility to inform them if you want to add your husband in the petition. So, go to your human resource section, ask them to get an appointment with the lawyer. Tell the lawyer everything before it is too late. It should be all fine then. Good Luck!
