I am working on a database and I am stuck in what it seems trivial problem. You can see the following datasheet and select query. In the query field, I have to create a new table "Sum" that calculates the total fee for each parking lot. Any idea how do I do that?

How'd I make database know the number or specific parking lots, so that that can be multiplied with that parking lot's price to get the sum?! This is what I put Sum: [strParkingLotCode]*[curParkingFee] And, I know it is wrong (and gives the message below..), but I don't know how to get it to work! Any idea, anyone?

Hello Slackdemic, see the strParkingLotCode field is on both the tables, so while writing query you have to specify which table are you referring to... change the qry for you sum as follows sum:[tblParkingLot.strParkingLotCode]*[tblParkingLot.curParkingFee] I believe tblParkingLot is the name of your table... cos whole text is not visible.
