is there any way to convert wma files to mp3 files...?? the thing is i'm trying to put some songs in my ipod but it won't work, prolly cuz it wont play wma files, so i was wondering if theres a way to change the wma files to mp3 files for free ;)

Download Audacity from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ , Then you can play your wma files and record it as mp3.

If it is not DRM protected you can convert using any audio software. Such as jet Audio(Free ) http://www.e-soft.co.uk/ (WMA to MP3 converter free softwares).


But if it is DRM protected , then either you have to use Virtual Drive or Burn Audio CD using CD burner. I suggest to use writeable CD , which is easy and you will get best quality than virtual CD .


After You burn on cd , rip cd on mp3 format using windows media player, it gonna work it out.

i know but the songs are protected with DRM so i had to get something that'd convert wmas to mp3s even though theyre protected with DMR! so sound taxi is good for that, but you have to purchase it, i got it now anyway!

Ur I-pod's software automatically changes ur wma files in to acc or mp3.
if u dont have the software then go and download itunes 7 for free.
